Morph verb

to develop a new appearance or change into something else, or to make something do this
The river flooded its banks and morphed into a giant sea that swamped the town

Subsidy noun 

money that is paid by a government or organization to make prices lower, reduce the cost of producing goods etc
Billions of dollars were given out in agricultural subsidies.

Rival noun

person, group, or organization that you compete with in sport, business, a fight etc
The fight started as an argument between rival gang members

Tout verb

to try to persuade people that somebody/something is important or valuable by praising them/it
She's being touted as the next leader of the party.
